The view from Ann and Dave's deck...the Peace River bridge. For the students at CFS this is the bridge I was driving across back in 1997 when my car doors flew open, because it was winter and I had been through the car wash and not dried the water from the doors. As it was winter and very cold they iced up and could not stay shut.
Wow, sitting having lunch on the deck of the house and we saw this deer go walking through the backyard.....it went away quickly once it noticed me trying to take a photo.....
Out for lunch this day to the Blue Ridge...this was my French Onion Soup...check out the pastry on the top!
Cathy and I took a drive past the house I lived in here in Peace River.....nearly the same as 16years ago...just a different colour paint on the front of the house.
Over the past few days I have caught up with many people who made my time here in 1997 so special. Last Friday night Ann and Dave hosted a party for me to catch up with so many....lots of laughs and memories shared. Things I had forgottten about were recalled and discussed.
On Saturday night we went to a fundraiser for the church, Mama Mia at the movie theatre....lots of singing and dancing in the aisles. Some funny outfits as well. Ann arranged feather boas for her and I and Barb joined us for a photo!
Wow - just look at what my friend Gail saw as she was out driving this afternoon......
